Skin lesions
Labrador skin diseases
Every breed is different. It may have certain favourite lesions or localization for a skin disease. Or it may have favourite diseases that we see more often than in other breeds. And sometimes it even has unique dermatosis that we meet exclusively in that breed.
For example Labrador is prone to atopic dermatitis, that is often complicated by otitis externa, it often has front feet wrong anatomical conformation, that leads to interdigital furunculosis, it also has genetic disease we see almost only in this breed — nasal parakeratosis.
Labrador is a very popular breed with many skin issues — let’s learn more about them!
