Skin lesions

Yorkshire terrier skin diseases

Every breed is different. It may have certain favourite lesions or localization for a skin disease. Or it may have favourite diseases that we see more often than in other breeds. And sometimes it even has unique dermatosis that we meet exclusively in that breed.
For example Yorkshire terrier is prone to atopic dermatitis with quite unusual localizations, Microsporum is in love with this dog and it may have follicular dysplasia and other uncommon diseases.

Yorkshire terrier is a very popular breed all over the world and has many skin issues – let’s learn more about them!
