Skin lesions

German Shepherd skin diseases — part I

German Shepherd is a very popular breed all over the world and with way too many skin issues.
For example, they often have generalized atopic dermatitis with severe infections, they are prone to mucocutaneous diseases (pyoderma, lupus, perianal fistulae) and they are also predisposed to a genetic disease we see almost only in this breed – congenital dwarfism. In fact, they have so many skin problems that I couldn’t “squeeze” them in just one webinar and there is also second part, don’t miss it:)
Part I is about atopic dermatitis, mucocutaneous pyoderma, German Shepherd cellulitis and recently described (but I see it quite often in practice:) nasal vasculopathy.
Have fun learning!
