Canine skin emergencies course
This course is about skin diseases that need immediate attention, because there is a lot of discomfort and pain and in some of them even risk of death.
Course is divided into 4 parts-webinars:
Common emergencies: Hotspot, severe pruritus, severe interdigital furunculosis
Uncommon emergencies: symmetrical lupoid onychitis, juvenile cellulitis, eosinophilic furunculosis of the face, cutaneous vasculitis
Rare emergencies: autoimmune dermatitis that need immediate help (like uveodermatological syndrome), erythema multiforme, postgrooming furunculosis
Very rare emergencies: necrotizing fasciitis, toxic shock syndrome, sterile neutrophilic dermatosis (Sweets syndrome), sterile pustular erythroderma of Miniature Schnauzers, pyoderma gangrenosum, Wells syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis

These webinars have 100 live seats where attending members can ask questions of the speakers immediately after the presentation. Speakers are choosen based on their expertise in the presented subject. If viable, hairs should be plucked from active lesions (eg, lesions of alopecia, crusting, scaling, or follicular casting), and plucking vibrissae (ie, whiskers) should be avoided. If patchy alopecia is present, collecting hairs from the margin of an alopecic lesion is best.
However, central hair regrowth may be present on the lesion in areas of healing, in which case collecting from this area may not aid in diagnosis. Collecting hairs from the leading edge of the lesion (similar to collecting samples for cytologic evaluation) may allow for a better representation of the active process of the lesion. In cases of suspected demodicosis, approximately 30 to 40 hairs per affected body location should be collected and evaluated; however, collecting at least 30 to 40 hairs in all canine or feline cases can help ensure a representative sample.

I think Sveta is one of the best speakers I know. Really! It is not a compliment, it is true!
Each time I am waiting for her lectures a lot. She is so calm, and explains everything very well, she has a lot of interesting cases to share, she makes students think for themselves with supporting answers. And what is most important, she is encouraging beginners to ask any questions they need to know. Then she is always super supportive and helpful.
Sveta has a lot of knowledge and the work she has done in her life is incredible. I am glad she is helping others with her webinars and courses.

Will I get a certificate?
Yes, you get a certificate after each webinar or course (except journal club). Even if you could not join us live and just watched the recording(s). On the certificate I will mention length of a webinar, so you may use it for collecting your CE points
